Educational Consultant/Presenter (part-time consultant status) provides DataWORKS staff development workshops at K-12 schools. Our programs train teachers and administrators exactly how to imporve their lesson design and delivery so students learn more and faster, which directly leads to imporved test scores. Curriculum Calibrator evaluates K-12 schoolwork to state curriculum standards within multiple state sites. Tasks may include (but are not limited to): calibration of school material, analysis of state standards, identification of curriculum trends within school sites, and other academic projects as needed. Calibrators will work closely with others in a group setting. Due to the level of analysis required in Curriculum Calibration, potential candidates must possess a B.A./B.S. and have experience in the K-12 classroom. Analyst/Programmer This position will be responsible for the maintenance and web-based application development for the Dataworks Educational Research Intranet/Internet. Duties and responsibilities of this position will include development and design of internal and external web pages, including graphics and functionality; development of web page infrastructure and applications, maintenance of the web sites and proposals for upgrades and new software.
          Requirements: Bachelor of Computer Science or related field, extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML ,CSS, Javascript, ASP.NET development experience with C# and the .NET 2.0 environment desired, knowledge of UML, XML, design patterns a plus, knowledge of object oriented programming concepts, ability to create, deploy and maintain web applications, help develop, understand and follow coding standards of company, demonstrated ability to fully develop Web-based tools, strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, the ability to work both independently and with a team, provide technical support and assistance in the maintenance of the software and hardware. Organize details required to hire and train a continuous growth of company presenters. Assist in writing and organization of applying for grants. Help design and proof marketing materials. Qualified applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and five years of administrative expreience supporting multiple executives.
