DataWORKS Educational Research has developed a standards-based mathematics test modeled after the California Standards Test released questions to help you identify gaps in student learning.
By utilizing our test, you will be able to determine where you need to focus your test preparation in the final weeks leading up to the California Standards Test.
With detailed results in hand, you can develop specific strategies to help your students succeed on the CST.
Our tests were designed using the same strict format as the California Standards Test. The tests consist of 45-60 multiple choice questions with the same level of difficulty, the same question bias, and the same number of distractors as the California Standards Test.
Our detailed results broken down by grade will allow grade-level teachers to work together towards a common goal. With results broken down by classroom, teachers can determine which lessons just didn't "sink in" for students and still have time to reteach. The reports by student can be utilized to conduct teacher-student and/or teacher-parent conferences that may help students be more aware of the areas where they need improvement.
This will allow you to give students accountability for their own success. Bonus: For kindergarten and first-grade classes, use our test as a benchmark to determine whether or not students are prepared for the next year.
