Services

DataWORKS has divided its services into three areas: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. All of our efforts target greater student learning. We have been working toward this goal since the inception of standards-based education. The first step in greater student learning is ensuring that teachers have curriculum that is aligned to state standards and that they can cover the breadth of those standards in a school year. The second step requires effective and efficient instruction aimed at meeting the rigor of state standards. The third step is preparing students for formal assessments and knowing what to do with the data collected from these assessments.

CURRICULUM

Through our analysis of over 2 million pieces of student work, we have discovered that students have been assigned work two to four grades below their current grade-level.
