have imbedded English Learner strategies in every step to accelerate English Learners.
Instructional leaders must attend to learn what the teachers are
learning and to support effective and ongoing implementation.

Many schools today with high EL populations are looking for tools to improve
learning for these students. Although the EL strategies are specifically
designed to improve comprehension for English learners, these sheltered
instruction techniques work with all students, especially low performing students.
