feedback to teachers on their use of effective research based lesson components.
Instructional leaders must attend to learn how to do
Classroom Coaching to provide support for effective and ongoing implementation.

Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) Cognitive Strategies Workshop
|
|
This workshop addresses using brain research to make well crafted Explicit Direct Instruction
lessons even more effective for students. The training applies research regarding how the human
mind processes, stores and retrieves information. If all teachers designed lessons that
specifically included cognitive strategies, students would learn faster and have improved
retention of the content being taught. During the session, teachers develop lessons with
integrated cognitive strategies that accelerate student learning and retention.
